Changing Demographics, Changing Educational Needs: Report to the Illinois General Assembly on House Resolution 892
This report examines the policies and practices of Illinois public colleges and universities in the admission of undocumented residents, as well as the participation of race/ethnic groups in higher education and strategies to increase their participation. ( Presentation by Doug Day)

Engineering Grant Program Fiscal Year 2003 Allocation
This item recommends an allocation of the $2.6 million appropriated in fiscal year 2003 for the Engineering Grant Program. Grants amounts are determined on the basis of the number of baccalaureate degrees conferred in the previous year. Grants are recommended for nine institutions. (Terry Nunn)

Graduation Incentive Grant Program Fiscal Year 2003 Grant Allocation
This item recommends an allocation of the $100,000 appropriation in fiscal year 2003 for the Graduation Incentive Grant Program. Grants are recommended for Eastern Illinois University and Western Illinois University; each has a program that promotes completion of a baccalaureate degree within four years. (Terry Nunn)

Public University Noninstructional Project Approval
This item recommends approval of noninstructional capital improvement projects for Southern Illinois University Carbondale and the University of Illinois at Chicago. The projects for Southern Illinois University involve acquisition of land in Springfield and Marion, Illinois, and the project for the University of Illinois at Chicago involves improvement and expansion of recreational facilities.
